The capital city is set to come alive on 22 November 2025 as Frame Fest Abuja takes centre stage at Evelyn’s Event & Recreational Centre, Gwarinpa. Powered by Symphonii Studios, the creative festival is positioned as a dynamic celebration of The Art of Storytelling across comics, animation, gaming, performance, and film.
Far from being just another creative showcase, Frame Fest Abuja represents a growing movement, one that seeks to amplify African voices and redefine how stories from the continent are told, seen, and experienced.

This year’s edition features a compelling lineup of activities, including comic book launches, animation screenings, competitions, stage plays, and award presentations, each designed to inspire creativity, learning, and collaboration within Africa’s vibrant creative ecosystem.
Among the festival’s highlights are two major panel discussions that explore the evolution of storytelling in the modern age. “The Art of Storytelling” will examine the depth of creative expression and narrative development through African perspectives, while “Exploring Collaboration Between Comics and Live-Action Films” will discuss how visual storytelling can transition seamlessly from page to screen.

Adding to the excitement, Frame Fest Abuja has partnered with Shy Munky Studios to host an engaging gaming competition where participants will compete in a FIFA tournament for a ₦50,000 cash prize. Registration will be available on-site for ₦1,000, alongside other interactive games and contests that promise to keep attendees entertained throughout the event.
The festival’s guest lineup includes an impressive roster of industry trailblazers such as Ayodele Elegba, Ibrahim Ganiyu (Sirgai), Owoade Ifeoluwa, Sewedo Nupowaku, Anthony Kehinde Joseph, Tobi Oke, Blessing Ossom, Chiemelu Uzochukwu, Christopher Okonkwo, Adedayo Erivic, and Jackson Godwin (ArtGodwinKing), all sharing insights on creativity, storytelling, and the expanding African art and media scene.

With exhibitions, cosplay, poetry showcases, live performances, and ample networking opportunities, Frame Fest Abuja 2025 invites creators, fans, and learners alike to create, connect, and celebrate the continent’s storytelling spirit. Event tickets are available here.
